What is OACP?
OACP covers training for professional drivers of vehicles for passenger or goods transport. The qualification requires the relevant exams, a valid C, C1, D or D1 licence depending on the activity, and applicable medical conditions.

5 days every 5 years
To renew your qualification, you must complete 5 days of OACP continuing training (35 hours) during your certificate’s validity period, at an approved centre.

When to sign up?
Complete the training during the five years before your certificate expires. Plan ahead to meet deadlines. If needed, the authority may grant up to 1 month’s extension on written request.
Expired certificate
If your certificate has expired, renewal can be recorded after complete OACP continuing training. Courses taken in the previous five years can count toward the 35 hours — keep your certificates.
Hold a C, C1, D and/or D1 licence.
Mandatory continuing training during the validity period (or catch-up if expired).
If applicable: a valid foreign card for exchange.
