Licences D and D1 — passenger transport
The D licence lets you drive passenger vehicles with more than 8 seats (excluding the driver) and a trailer up to 750 kg. D1 covers minibuses up to 16 seats.

Mandatory training for the D licence
Without one year of experience in category C (or trolleybus), the law (art. 8 OAC) requires a minimum number of practical lessons with an instructor authorised for heavy categories who holds the D licence: 52 lessons for holders of a B, C1 or D1 licence, 24 for holders of a C licence, 12 for holders of a D licence restricted to scheduled line services.

How much does the exam presentation cost?
Coach D: 450 CHF / 120 min. Minibus D1: 380 CHF / 120 min. Vehicle insurance: +200 CHF once for the whole training.
How much is a D lesson?
185 CHF / 50 min on our coach. Double lesson: 360 CHF. Booklet of 10 lessons: 1 750 CHF.
How many lessons are mandatory?
